The signs are everywhere... Google is going after Content Spam. FREE Traffic from Google, Yahoo and MSN... may be a thing of the Past. How can you protect your hard-earned Adsense income?

If you have been earning Adsense revenue for any length of time, you know the drill:

• Find a way to get tons of web pages online
• Make them keyword rich
• Get them indexed by Yahoo, Google and MSN
• Yahoo, Google and MSN send thousands of visitors to your pages
• Some click on your Adsense ads
• You make money, and lots of it.

That’s the good news. Now the bad...

You add hundreds, even thousands of pages. Your income goes through the roof. Google decided they don’t like your pages. Google bans your pages, or drops them to page 158. Same thing, right? You start over... and over... and over... Then you realize.... This is HARD WORK! And what’s worse, Google is winning the battle.

I know what it is like, because I was caught in the same rat race. I was making thousands every month on Adsense, then Google dropped my pages. So I made more, my income went back up, then ... well, you get the picture.

Did you jump on the "Content" Bandwagon?

In a desperate effort to keep alive their Adsense income, many entrepreneurs, and those that supply software and services to them, began building "content-rich" sites and software to make building them fast and easy.

This spawned hundreds of Private Label Rights (PLR) membership sites all too happy to sell thousands of keyword rich articles to their members. They would limit the number of members to avoid the "Duplicate Content" filters.

People "scraped" articles from article directories to fill their sites with "good" content. None of it worked all that well. Let’s dispel some Myths:
 Myth #1: Content is King - Wrong! Unique Content is King! If you have the same content as everyone else, Look Out! Google, Yahoo, and MSN are furiously upgrading their duplicate content filters. When they do, we will see a repeat of the devastation, we saw earlier as thousands of your valuable, hard-wrought web pages disappear once more... When that occurs, there goes your number one rankings, and your Adsense revenue along with it. Many of the top SEO experts are talking about the need for fresh, unique, quality content for your sites.

 Myth #2: You have to write your own articles or rewrite every PLR article you have by hand. We both know if you had to — you wouldn’t. If your goal is to put up 10 sites a month with 50-200 pages a site, my calculator says you would wear out your keyboard before the month was up. If you are a gifted writer and love nothing more than sitting in front of your computer, pecking away at your keyboard unit 2 in the morning, good for you. The rest of us got into this to make money while we sit on a tropical beach in an exotic country, sipping a Margarita, not to get blisters on our fingertips. Fortunately, you don’t have to sit at your computer writing or rewriting articles. There is a better way.

 Myth #3: Hire a Ghostwriter to make unique content - What does a regular writer know about writing content that:

• 1. Search engines will love to rank high
• 2. Makes sense to the people reading it

With all due respect to the hard-working writers out there, but this is an important skill set. Those who know keyword research and good copywriting are rare. They charge a premium for their services.

The reason we look to article directories and PLR articles is because most writers charge $5 an article. If you want to put up 1,000 pages, it will cost $5,000 — ouch!

It does not make sense to spend $100’s on your PLR articles and then $1,000’s more for a ghostwriter to rewrite them.

And if you decided to have a ghostwriter write a 1,000 articles for you, who is going to read them, edit them, and make sure they make sense?

Remember the exotic beach? The Margarita? Do you want to be there reading 200 article on beekeeping, contact lenses, and growing petunias? Not me!

And you don’t either...

Every good rewriting program needs a good Thesaurus ... How about Three?

 The Base Thesaurus: It comes with Website Content Wizard’s 30,195 word Thesaurus. So you start off with hundreds of potential words and phrases to help you rewrite your articles.

 The Project Thesaurus: Each article project will have terms that are specific to that topic. Website Content Wizard keeps track of those words in the Project Thesaurus.

 The Personal Thesaurus: Your Thesaurus grows over time. You may think of new words you want to add. All the words from the Base Thesaurus that you marked for any project become available from your Personal Thesaurus. When you decide at a later date to write more articles on that subject, you already have a topic specific Thesaurus to reference.

So as you complete each project, your Personal Thesaurus is growing and "learning" which phrases and words you wish to replace. This makes each project easier and easier to set up and rewrite your articles.

I have searched the Internet for top free Public Domain sites. I made special licensing arrangements with them to use their content in Website Content Wizard 2.0.

public domain: Material that is not copyrighted, whose copyright has expired, or is un copyrightable. The last includes government publications, jokes, titles - and, it should be remembered, ideas.

Many books, plays and other content is not copyright protected. The reasons vary from the amount of time that has passed since it was written, to government documents and publications. Some authors do not want their material restricted, preferring that everyone have equal access to it.
