Selfcast TV is a free site where you can upload, view, share and comment on videos.

Create a channel

It’s real easy to create your own channel. First and foremost, you must be logged in. To log in, go to the top right hand corner and click on ‘Log In’ and follow the steps. If you are not yet registered, again, go to the top right hand corner of the screen and click on ‘register’. Then follow the prompts. All you need is a username, password and an email to register.

So, you are all logged in. What next? Well, there are a few ways to go about creating a channel. First, you can create a channel by typing in a search in the search box. Create an entire channel from the results list by clicking on the "Make a new channel with all of these videos" option located at the top of the page. Alternatively, you can click on an individual video and while you watch you can create a new channel or add it to an existing channel heading. All you have to do is click on "add to channel" located below the clip. A separate screen will appear giving you the choice to add this video to a set channel or make a brand new channel specifically for this clip. It’s really up to you.

All the other things you can do on Selfcast

There are a multitude of things you can do on Selfcast. Here is a list. Check them out and enjoy,

 1. Rate: Click on the stars at the bottom of each clip to record your vote.

 2. Email: At the bottom of each clip, click on "circulate" and send friends your favourite videos.

 3. Comment: login and leave behind a comment for other selfcasters to see.

 4. Embed: See a clip you like? Want to put it in your blog, on your homepage or in your myspace? Just copy the link from the embed box and paste it into your page

 5. Download to your iTunes or PSP: Want to watch a clip, but don’t have the time? Want to take it to a friend or save it for later? Download the clip to your iTunes, PSP or other favourite portable media player by clicking on the "iTunes" and "PSP" link at the bottom of the clip.

 6. MMS: Have some video on your mobile? Just send a text to 07893-111-222 to upload you video onto selfcast. You can even upload a video from your mobile phone! Just register your phone number with Selfcast TV through your profile and you can text us (07893-111-222) or email us (submit@selfcastTV.com) your clips from anywhere, anytime. This service is currently only available in the UK and Europe.

 7. Profile management: You can add friends, upload photos, leave your friends a comment, personalize your own quote, manage your videos and channels as well as read every comment you’ve ever left. Just login, and click on the profile tab. All you have to do is click "edit" to customize your profile.
