What is Revver?

Revver is the first online service that allows digital video creators to share and monetize their content across multiple distribution channels: broadband, mobile and broadcast.

When submitting videos to Revver.com, users can automatically share them online and also opt into mobile and broadcast distribution. On the Internet, Revver matches each video with relevant advertising, encourages video sharing and then uses its proprietary technology to track videos as they are viewed.

Regardless of the distribution channel, Revver always rewards users with a percentage of the revenue generated, creating a virtual marketplace for digital video. Revver also vigorously upholds creators’ rights by individually screening each video submitted and not accepting copyright-infringing content.

Revver is a video-sharing platform built the way the internet really works. We support the free and unlimited sharing of media. Our unique technology tracks and monetizes videos as they spread virally across the web, so no matter where your creativity travels, you benefit.

Revver is the viral video network that pays. We connect video makers and sharers with sponsors in a free and open marketplace that rewards them for doing what they do best.

Revver is committed to the artist. You have something to say and we built our network to empower you to say it.

How does it work?

- 1. Upload your video.
- 2. We pair your video with a targeted advertisement.
- 3. Share your video across the web. The more people see it, the more money you can make.
- 4. We split the ad revenue with you 50/50.

Sharers earn money too! Help spread Revver videos and earn 20% of the ad revenue. The remaining money is split 50/50 between the creator of the video and Revver.

We’ve built all sorts of cool and easy sharing tools to help you make your work go viral and earn more money. Share and shared alike. Can you feel the love?

How to do it?

There are lots of ways to share Revver videos. You can email them with the send to a friend button, embed them in your blog or MySpace, create an RSS feed or podcast of them, or download and share them over Peer-to-Peer networks. As long as you’re a registered Revver member, sharing can earn you some dough.

How far can you spread your video?

As far as your imagination takes you! You can post videos as MySpace comments or on message boards. You could submit them to Digg or Newsvine. There are tons of ways to get your videos out into the world. Be sure to check the Revver Blog and Forum for tips, tools and updates on new syndication opportunities.

So hike up your pant legs and start sharing. It’s a wild web out there and the possibilities are endless. Set your creativity free!

What’s a Widget?

Want to put more than one Revver video on your page? The Revver Widget helps you share multiple videos at one time. Use it to share any collection of videos, and if it’s ever updated, the changes automatically appear on your page! We even made you a Widget Builder, so you can customize the Widget to match your site. Or your drapes. Your call!

Revver Widget

The Revver widget is a highly customizable tool for sharing videos from the Revver library on any web site that supports HTML and Javascript. Any collection of videos from the Revver library can be used to populate the Widget, including a user’s favorites, a manual or smart collection, a search result set, or Revver public collections.

The Javascript code should function properly in any environment that does not strip or rewrite tags or disable Javascript. Some rich text editors may have trouble with the multi-line Javascript, but this is usually rectified by removing line breaks.

Revver API

Attention developers! Want to build your own video-sharing site like Revver.com? You can use our API to do it. The Revver API includes all the tools you need to create your own video portal complete with user accounts, uploading, sharing tools and access to the full Revver library of videos. Revver covers the bandwidth and shares all ad revenue with you and the video makers.
