MultiTrack Generator is a multi-variant testing system designed to automate and improve testing techniques for web site conversions (sales letter, opt-ins, name squeezes), using Taguchi-based mathematical algorithms to make testing require less traffic while testing multiple variables simultaneously.

- Before MTG, split testing was the most popular method of testing available for web pages, but with MTG’s powerful algorithm, the software allows not only testing (A, B, A, B) but as many variables as you want A-Z.

- What is unique about MTG is not only its ability to test many things at once, but the combinations of those variables as well. Split testing is virtually incapable of doing this. If two independent variables are mediocre when tested alone, but increase overall conversions the most when placed together, you will be able to detect this using MTG.

- Perhaps the best thing about MTG is that all these processes are completely automated. When split testing the conventional way, you have to create a sales letter, test it, change something and test the two versus each other. Repeating this process can be tiresome, but with MTG, you simply put in all the things you want to test, turn the test on, and walk away until it’s done, which saves a lot of time and effort from the tester.

- MTG also automatically tweaks your page so that once the higher converting variables can be sufficiently identified, those variables are displayed so that the least number of hits are a wasted on low converting variables. - The second part of MTG is a desktop program called Sales Letter Tokenizer (SLT), where you can load your sales letter (or any other page you want to test) and create tokens and variables with a few clicks. If you already have a sales letter written, and know all the things you want to test, you can set up an entire test in about 20 minutes. When you are done, you can then upload your data straight from the desktop to the server with MTG components installed.
