How did Blogger Wizard come to be?

I was reading some posts on the Keyword Avalanche Forum and someone mentioned that they were getting their sites indexed in MSN and Yahoo by links on blogger blogs.

Wont the tag stop the search engines coming round, someone asked, and to be honest I thought that was a good question.

The original poster pointed out that Yahoo and MSN appeared to be ignoring the tag now.

Well rather than taking anyones word for it I thought I had better check it out myself.

Yahoo and MSN ignore the tag and just index away.

I gave it some thought and logicaly thought that comment on a PR5 blog would get the engines round quicker than leaving 100 comments on PR0 blogs.

So I need to go through thousands of blogs and find the PR of each one, ok this was going to be like real work.

Who wants to be going through 100’s or 1000’s of blogs looking for a high PR blog to leave a comment on, I want to work less not more.

I didnt think much more of blog commenting as a mass indexing stratergy, until one night I explained the theory to my programmer in passing. 24 hours later he had started building Blogger Wizard.
