How does it work?

As you discover interesting Web pages, use the Backflip it! button to save them and Backflip will organize them for you. Then, simply go to your Backflip account and you’ll find all of your favorite pages filed in your personal directory — which you can access from any computer.

Share folders with your friends!

Now Backflip makes it easy to share and discuss the interesting things you find online with your friends. Simply enter the email addresses of anyone you’d like to share with, and Backflip takes care of the rest. Your friends are notified and they can view Web pages you select, whether they’re Backflip members or not. They can make comments, view each other’s comments, and if you choose, they can contribute more interesting pages.

• Backflip Presents You with Relevant New Information - Click one of your folders in the My Folders view. You’ll see your Web discoveries. When you add pages, Backflip can create a description of each page too. And you can easily find everything — just use Search My Backflip.

 You’re Interested in Many Different Things - You may have many separate topics you’re interested in. With Backflip you can easily create folders for each topic. To really save time, just use Search My Backflip to find keywords or phrases contained in the URL, Title, Description, or actual page contents of pages you’ve backflipped!

 You Want to Manage Your Enormous Collection of Web Pages - You can add as many pages as you want to Backflip. Adding a large number of pages to your Bookmarks creates a problem. The list becomes bigger, and bigger, and eventually you can’t find the recent pages among the old ones. With Backflip you can avoid looking through lists altogether by using Search My Backflip. To delete old pages, just go to the end of the My New Pages view. The ones at the end are the oldest ones.

 You Share a Computer, but Want Privacy - Whether you share a computer at work or at home, you may want to keep your Web discoveries private. As long as you’re signed out of Backflip, you can allow others to use your computer without allowing them access to your account.
