We’re pleased to announce the release of Associate-O-Matic v3.0.6 and here are the highlights :

New Features

- Newly added Amazon categories:

    • Unbox (US) - functions similar to Wireless - direct buy buttons to Amazon only
    • Tools (Amazon UK)
    • Jewellery & Watches (Amazon UK)
    • Baby (Amazon DE)
    • Watches (Amazon DE)

- Revamped cfg.nodes.php with new formatting that lets you:

    • Add unlimited custom subcategories tied to your AOM categories
    • Add keyword filtering at custom subcategory level
    • Add item lists (you specify by ASIN) at custom subcategory level

- Search All Products setting - Blended or the new Category/Node search option
- Toggle buy buttons on Category and Item pages
- IP Filtering - also supports wildcards (e.g. 111.222.333.*)
- Several new strings added to the cfg.lang.php file
- New Mod Rewrite Separator setting. Instead of the default hyphen (-), you can now use an underscore (_). Not recommended for pre-existing stores using mod_rewrite as old listings will not work under the mod_rewrite rules for Underscore.
- Set Minimum Price and/or Maximum Price for your store (e.g. filter low or high end items)
- Subcategory box display control and category level
- Bullet custimization setting
- Subcategory box has two new Location options: BT (Body Top) and BB (Body Bottom) along with a column count setting when these new locations are used
- Quantity available and quantity input box option (works with built-in and Amazon carts)
- New category format: ASIN File (similar to ASIN List except uses your own external file)
- New shopping cart button (built-in and Amazon carts) settings
- Item pages with "Select Options" enhanced
- Bestsellers and New Release boxes now available across all locales: US, UK, CA, DE and FR
- Added a few category sort updates
- Various system memory and CPU enhancements
- Various other improvements

Bugs Squashed

    • DE/FR translation fix in certain links etc. (e.g. instead of "ö" being stripped it would be "oe")
    • Merchant Filter wasn’t working in all cases
    • Narrow By box links were invalid in certain cases (only available in US)
    • Advanced Search page was listing all Custom Boxes in the BT and BB locations
    • Rounded tab gap fixed... finally... we hope... crossing fingers... :)
    • Various other fixes
